Recreational activities are very important in human life. People belonging to every religion participate in recreational activities in one form or another. These recreational activities are as important for men as they are for women. In Christianity and Judaism, women were considered inferior to men and were not given full rights, but in these religions recreational activities were very important. The teachings of these religions mention women's recreational activities in national festivals, various rituals, sports, etc. Islam gave women rights that were impossible to imagine in different religions. One of them is the right to entertainment. One of the reasons for the criticism of Islam today is the assumption that Islam has not given women freedom in various aspects. This objection is mostly raised by Christian and Jewish thinkers and Orientalists. In order to know the truth of this assumption, it is necessary to make a comparative study of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in this regard. This article will make a comparative study of the rights of women in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, and will clarify in the context of Sira al-Nabawi whether the objections to Islamic teachings are valid or are based solely on religious bigotry.
