Religious thought has profoundly shaped the course of human civilization, influencing cultural values, social institutions, ethical frameworks, and political systems. From the earliest tribal rituals to the structured doctrines of world religions, the evolution of human societies has been inseparable from spiritual and metaphysical interpretations of existence. This paper explores the multifaceted impact of religious thought on human civilization by examining historical, cultural, and philosophical dimensions. The study highlights how religions provided cohesion in ancient societies, inspired art and literature, guided moral conduct, and influenced governance. By analyzing diverse traditions, the article illustrates the universal significance of religious thought in constructing civilizations and emphasizes its ongoing relevance in the contemporary world.
